Wildflowers, Wildlife & Wandering Thoughts
Share
Well it’s been a great couple of weeks for the wildlife, and overall a fantastic year locally so far. Everything seems to have bounced back after such a quiet year last year, which has been really nice to see.

It’s funny really, because there have been some brilliant wildlife opportunities lately, but at the moment I’m completely obsessed with the flowers. I don’t know if anyone else has been enjoying the wildflowers this year, but they truly are amazing.

The poppies and dog roses are looking incredible, and this year’s oxeye daisies have been absolutely phenomenal. I keep finding myself stopping just to sit amongst them and enjoy the movement and colour. There’s something really calming about watching them sway in the wind.

Normally, I make a trip over to Wentworth Castle for the rhododendrons, but I haven’t had chance yet this year. If you’re into flowers, it’s well worth a visit. The displays there are stunning, with colours I didn’t even know rhododendrons came in.

The weather hasn’t been the best lately, so I’ve been trying a few new things to keep myself busy and creative. I’m also still in the process of sorting the greeting cards, and they should hopefully be ready very soon.
Thanks for taking the time to read my blog, and I’ll see you all again next week.
If you’d like to follow along on social media to see what I’m getting up to during the week, please do — it would be great to have you on board.
